Personal Statement

In both my clinical and managerial endeavors, I have been investigating and deploying methods to motivate and sustain desired change in patients and colleagues. Whether it has been a patient wishing to incorporate new health practices or a colleague seeking to improve performance, the process of identifying opportunity, amplifying motivation and empowerment, and then building and maintaining successful new behaviors is quite parallel. I have found the methods of positive psychology coaching to be the most powerful tools for their self-care and self-determination.
